Stick to Decaf…

Putting your life in the hands of your teen is breathtaking enough….you won’t need caffeine to help you along.  When your teen begins to drive, life becomes surreal once again.  The first time was after the word, “Push!!!!”  You moms out there know what I mean!

Now our son is learning to drive!  Where does the time go?  Out the door…never to be seen again – unless you look real close in the mirror!  Teen drivers are a breed all their own.  Our son is doing well, I have to say.  However, every once in a while I hold on for dear life.  The term, “center of gravity” has yet to be fully realized in my stylish minivan.

He says he can take a turn at 30 mph in dad’s car…oh really now!  I don’t recall a Ferrari in the family.   Then again, our garage is a huge mess!  Where was I……..oh yes, teenage driver.   When your kid learns to drive, you can’t help but think God is falling over backwards laughing.  Not at the driver, but at you!

Have faith good parent……it does get better!  Remember though….no caffeine needed!

Peace, Love & Driver’s Ed

Some of my favorite coffee….decaf, of course:
